Kauwaka.

Kauwaka are a team of experts based in Heretaunga (Hastings), Hawke’s Bay, passionate about the revitalisation of Māori language and culture. Led by Dr Jeremy Tātere MacLeod, they consult with corporations, work alongside educators and hold workshops to educate the protocols of tikanga, explore whakapapa and recently launched the fully immersive and incredibly successful Toitū te Reo Festival - a celebration of Māori. I had the extreme honour of working alongside Jeremy to bring his vision for his workshops to life, building website pages, recording his kura sessions, and developing a series of videos to market the incredible mahi he and his team provide.
